Litigation Paralegal

Flexible: Hybrid, Remote (San Diego Only), or In-Office (Century City, Los Angeles)*

90 days mandatory in office with potential for hybrid schedule once candidate establishes self sufficiency for LA location*

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team in managing cases and preparing legal documents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal procedures and will assist attorneys in all aspects of litigation, ensuring timely and efficient case management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings
• Draft and organize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to coordinate case activities
• Assist in the review and organization of evidence and exhibits
• File documents with the court and ensure compliance with filing procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ethical standards
• Monitor case deadlines and manage timelines effectively
• Provide general administrative support to the legal team as required

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or related field
• Employment Litigation experience is strongly preferred
• Bilingual Spanish/English is required*
• Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in litigation
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
• Excellent document preparation and drafting skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong client communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• High level of confidentiality and professional integrity
• Proficient in legal research and case management software
• Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
