Remote PEMB Detailer (Metal Building Systems)
Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview
We are seeking an experienced PEMB Detailer to join our team in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in detailing Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) and extensive experience using MBS (Metal Building Software) to produce accurate shop drawings and fabrication documents. This role is critical in supporting engineering and fabrication teams by delivering high-quality, code-compliant detailing packages.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed shop and erection drawings for PEMB projects using MBS software.

Develop framing plans, elevations, sections, and connection details.

Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams.

Interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications.

Ensure drawings comply with project requirements and applicable codes.

Revise drawings based on internal and client feedback.

Maintain organized project files and documentation.

Qualifications

5-10 years of experience detailing Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) .

Advanced proficiency in MBS software .

Strong understanding of metal building systems, components, and connections.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication skills for coordination with internal teams.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Experience working directly with manufacturers or fabricators.

Familiarity with AISC standards and building codes.

Experience with other CAD tools (AutoCAD, Tekla, etc.).
