Express Employment Professionals is looking for a motivated and hard working individual to work as an Extrusion Assistant in the Waterford, NY area .

Pay Rate :

• $19.00/hr(Day shift)
• $20.50(Afternoon/Evening Shift)

Work Schedule for an Extrusion Assistant:

• 12 hour shifts, 4 days a week
• Shifts include 7:00 AM-7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Responsibilities for an Extrusion Assistant:

• Operate production equipment
• Build products as per work instructions
• Contribute to a mistake-proof process by ensuring quality through attention to detail
• Perform daily/weekly preventative maintenance of equipment
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized workspace following 5S principles.
• Maintain records and ensure tight inventory control and security.

Skills/Experience Required:

• Basic computer skills
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Experience in plastics blow molding, plastics extrusion, or plastics injection molding is a MUST.
• Operate production equipment and build products as per work instructions.
• Contribute to a mistake-proof process by ensuring quality through attention to detail.
• Perform daily/weekly preventative maintenance of equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing/sitting
• Regular use of hands
• Lifting and moving objects ranging from 10-50 pounds
