Job Description

Help Neighbors Build Brighter Futures

At John Boner Neighborhood Centers (JBNC), we believe that meaningful employment can be life-changing. As a Career Coach, you'll work directly with neighbors to help them identify career goals, build skills, access training opportunities, and connect with employers who offer pathways to long-term economic stability. Through the Center for Working Families (CWF) initiative, you'll play a key role in helping individuals and families move toward financial success and self-sufficiency.

About the Role

The Career Coach serves as a trusted guide, advocate, and connector for neighbors seeking employment and career advancement opportunities. Throughout the day, you'll build and maintain relationships with employers, coordinate hiring events, and connect neighbors to workforce development resources.

You may also facilitate job readiness workshops focused on workplace professionalism, communication, and career advancement. In addition, you'll track program outcomes, maintain case notes, and ensure data is accurately recorded to support reporting and grant requirements. Every day brings new opportunities to encourage, empower, and support neighbors as they work toward long-term financial stability and career success.
