Job Description

The bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining the financial records of Women's Help Center, a prolife pregnancy care center located in Northeast Florida, and accurately recording daily financial transactions. This is a part-time, hourly position. Qualifications

  1. Exhibit commitment and dedication to the pro-life position held by Women's Help Center
  2. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  3. Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making skills
  4. Knowledge and competence working with software, including QuickBooks Online, Word, and Excel
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Check and verify source documents including invoices, receipts, and computer printouts
  2. Reconcile and balance all accounts
  3. Prepare financial statements (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet) as requested by the WHC Board Treasurer or Executive Director
  4. Collate and analyze account data and generate financial reports
  5. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  6. Prepare checks and payments
  7. Comply with relevant reporting requirements
  8. Assist with budget preparation as requested by WHC Board Treasurer or Executive Director
  9. Assist with audits as needed
  10. Assist in all aspects of WHC functions, requested by Center Manager and/or Executive Director
