Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patrolling various locations, including communities, apartment complexes, parking lots, and commercial buildings, to ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, and property. The officer will also be required to issue citations, write patrol reports, document incidents, respond to non-emergency calls, and complete site checks.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol Assigned Areas: Conduct regular patrols of the assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorized activities, vandalism, and other security threats.

Issue Citations: Enforce community rules and regulations by issuing citations as required, ensuring compliance and maintaining order.

Write Patrol Reports: Maintain accurate and detailed patrol logs, documenting observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.

Document Incidents: Record and report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or incidents to the appropriate authorities and management.

Respond to Non-Emergency Calls: Respond promptly and professionally to non-emergency calls, providing assistance and support as needed.

Complete Site Checks: Conduct thorough site checks to ensure all doors, windows and access points are secure and alarms are functioning correctly.

Ensure General Safety and Order: Monitor CCTV cameras, enforce property rules, and provide a visible presence to deter criminal activity and maintain a safe environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk and patrol for extended periods of time

Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds

Good physical condition with the ability to respond to emergencies quickly

Work Schedule:

This is a full time or part time position with varying shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.

Competitive hourly wage (As a contract security company all pay and compensation is negotiated per contract. This means we operate on a post pay system. Post pay is where one site and position may pay a certain rate and another site or position pays a different rate. You are paid the rate for the position in which you work.)
