Recruiting Coordinator (Tampa, FL – Onsite | 6-Month Contract)

Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator
Compensation: $23 - $28/hour
Location: 6911 Pistol Range Road STE 201, Tampa, FL 33635
Work Environment: Onsite 5 days a week; Fast-paced recruiting environment with shifting priorities. Must be available to support recruiting events and candidate scheduling as needed. Minimal physical demands; occasional standing for recruiting events or meetings.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Recruiting Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to the recruiting function. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly. You’ll help ensure an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process. Previous recruiting, HR, executive administrative, or coordination experience is preferred—healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required.
 

What You’ll Do
Recruiting Operations & ATS Management
  • Maintain candidate records and job requisitions within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Monitor candidate workflow progression and ensure recruiting activities are accurately documented.
  • Assist with job posting management across multiple recruiting platforms.
  • Support candidate communications throughout the hiring process.
  • Coordinate background checks, assessments, and pre-employment activities.
  • Coordinate and manage onsite and virtual hiring events, from candidate outreach and scheduling through event execution and post-event follow-up.
Interview Coordination & Scheduling
  • Schedule interviews between candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership teams.
  • Coordinate virtual and in-person interview logistics.
  • Manage calendars and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Facilitate candidate travel arrangements when applicable.
Offer & Hiring Administration
  • Prepare offer letters and supporting hiring documentation.
  • Track offer approvals and acceptance status. - Coordinate onboarding activities with Human Resources.
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and timely.
Candidate Experience
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Help deliver a positive and engaging candidate experience.
Administrative Support
  • Assist with recruiting reports, metrics, and data tracking.
  • Support recruiting projects and process improvement initiatives. 
  • Maintain recruiting templates, documents, and communication materials. - Provide general administrative support to the recruiting function as needed.
 
 
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, human resources, administrative support, executive support, customer service, or related fields.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting recruiting or talent acquisition functions.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Experience coordinating interviews and executive calendars.
  • Experience supporting remote or distributed teams.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required.
