Production Packer Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $16.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Second Shift ( Monday through Friday from 03:45pm to 12:15am )

• Under the general direction of the Dry Filtration Value Stream Manager, the Folder/Packer is responsible for ensuring finished products are properly folded, packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment according to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect products to ensure packing specifications and quality standards are met.
• Maintain production requirements and record production totals as required.
• Weigh, measure, and count products and materials.
• Remove defective or incomplete products from the production line.
• Assemble and position boxes for packing operations.
• Retrieve, seal, and prepare filled boxes for shipment.
• Operate tape machines and other packaging equipment to seal containers.
• Apply labels accurately according to instructions.
• Stack completed packages on pallets according to established guidelines.
• Transport pallets for wrapping and final preparation.
• Utilize scanning equipment to properly label and track packages.

Production Packer Qualifications:

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, packing, and palletizing
• Use of packaging equipment, scanners, and pallet-handling equipment
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure Preferred 
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of 8-10 hours
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and stacking.
• Ability to lift and move packaged products and materials.
