99.9 WFRE – Frederick’s Heritage Country Radio Station is looking for motivated individuals eager to break into the radio industry and gain real-world, hands-on experience. This part-time opportunity is designed for candidates who want to learn all aspects of radio broadcasting while building a strong foundation for a long-term career in media.

This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, professional radio environment while developing skills across multiple departments. The ideal candidate is passionate about radio, content creation, and storytelling, with a strong desire to grow within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with News Reporting and content gathering
• Support Traffic Reporting operations
• Participate in Audio Production , including editing and segment creation
• Operate studio equipment through Board Operation
• Work as a Promotions Assistant at events and station initiatives
• Train and perform On-Air shifts on a top-rated radio station
