Salary: $103,000 - 143,000 per year Requirements:

• Ability to remain on your feet for up to 12 hours and use your hands to handle or feel objects, tools, and controls; reach with your arms; and communicate and hear around machinery. The role also involves frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Ability to lift and move up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work near moving machinery and electrically activated devices.
• Basic arithmetic skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and knowledge of decimals, fractions, and metric-to-English conversions.
• Willingness to work required overtime during busy production periods; overtime is otherwise typically voluntary.
• Completion of applicable new-hire and department training, including the assigned Paint Line training matrix, with training and job qualification verified within the first 60 days.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of and apply concepts covered in technical training; additional training may be assigned as needed.

• Inspect materials visually before painting and painted parts afterward to check coverage and quality.
• Hang parts on the paint line according to shop orders to ensure proper cleaning and coating.
• Operate the baking oven when needed and monitor its temperature and bake-cycle times.
• Perform related tasks such as masking, packaging, and hanging or packaging painted parts to protect them during transport.
• Clean and maintain the work area.
• Contribute to manufacturing efficiency and customer outcomes by offering suggestions and participating actively as a team member.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and others encountered in the course of work.
• Participate in continuous-improvement activities aimed at reducing variation and waste in the manufacturing process.
• Work with new paint line helpers using the specified training format.
• Perform other duties as assigned; duties and responsibilities may change as business needs require.
