Monday–Friday Day Shift | Minimal Direct Care | Clinical Analytics Focus
Are you an RN who enjoys solving problems, analyzing information, and identifying the details that others might miss?
Not every nurse wants to spend an entire career working bedside shifts. Some nurses are energized by reviewing clinical data, assessing resident needs, spotting trends, and using their nursing judgment to improve outcomes.
If that sounds like you, a career as an MDS Coordinator / Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC) may be the right next step.
This is a Monday-through-Friday nursing position with a strong focus on resident assessment, documentation, clinical analysis, and care planning. Outside of completing resident assessments, the role is primarily administrative and does not require routine bedside care.
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the MDS Coordinator leads the interdisciplinary resident assessment process and helps ensure each resident receives an accurate, individualized plan of care.
You will use your clinical experience, analytical skills, and attention to detail to:
Enjoy a Monday-through-Friday day-shift schedule with greater flexibility than many hospital or bedside nursing roles.
Your primary direct-care responsibility is resident assessment. The majority of your work will focus on clinical review, documentation, coordination, and analysis.
This is an opportunity to apply your clinical background in a role that combines nursing judgment with data analysis, problem-solving, and regulatory knowledge.
Unlike many acute-care environments, long-term care allows you to better understand each resident’s history, goals, progress, and changing needs over time.
This role can provide valuable experience in clinical reimbursement, compliance, quality improvement, and nursing leadership. You may also have the opportunity to pursue the Resident Assessment Coordinator Certification (RAC-CT) through AAPACN.
We offer a competitive benefits package for you and your family, including:
Join a team where your nursing knowledge, attention to detail, and analytical mindset can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
