Overview: We are a fast-paced manufacturing company with an immediate opening for a Manufacturing/ Mechanical Engineer who will assist our Lead Production Engineer and Ops Manager. The focus of this job is on the supervisory side, but your engineering problem solving skills will come into constant play.

Job Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with CNC milling machines, performing machining setups, doing CNC programming, and integrating robotics and automation into manufacturing processes. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing procedures to enhance productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CNC Machining: Develop, program, and optimize CNC machining processes to ensure precision and efficiency. Perform and oversee machining setups, ensuring all equipment is correctly configured for production runs.
  • Robotics and Automation: Design and implement robotic systems and automation solutions to streamline manufacturing processes. This will involve electro-mechanical work/skills.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with quality standards and regulations.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate maintenance and repair of CNC machines, robotic systems, and other manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance, production, and quality personnel to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred), with a focus on CNC machining, robotics, and automation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CNC programming (preferred), machining setups, and working with robotic systems. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with advanced automation technologies and Industry 4.0 principles.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • NOTE: Even without the preferred experience, this could be an entry-level opportunity for the right individual.

Work Environment:

  • The work required for this position takes place onsite in a manufacturing facility with very little (if any) travel outside of the Denver metro area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $82,496.00 per year
