Contract Length: 43 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8-Hour Day Shifts (37.5 Hours/Week)

Conflux Systems is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 43-week School Nurse contract in Federal Way, Washington . This is an excellent opportunity to support students in a school setting while maintaining a consistent weekday schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to students in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and district policies.
• Assess and monitor student health conditions and respond to illness or injuries during the school day.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Support students with chronic medical conditions, disabilities, and individualized healthcare plans (IHPs).
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs.
• Promote a safe and healthy school environment through health education and preventive care.
• Follow all school district policies, state regulations, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Previous pediatric, school nursing, clinic, or related nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with school personnel.
• Experience working with children and adolescents is highly preferred.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 8-hour day shifts
• 37.5 hours per week
• Reporting hours and work location may vary based on district needs.

• Contract Duration: 43 Weeks
• Gross Weekly Pay: $1,687
• Hours worked beyond 7.5 hours per day or 37.5 hours per week require prior district approval .
• Hours worked on student non-attendance days require pre-approval from the district.
• Reporting schedule and assigned location may vary throughout the contract.
