Teach an elementary classroom
Build strong relationships with students and families
Provide engaging instruction in literacy, math, and foundational learning skills

Minimum starting salary: $50,000 for educators new to the profession
(The 2026?27 starting salary schedule is pending board approval.)

Licensure / Endorsement Requirements
Preferred candidates will hold one or more of the following Iowa endorsements appropriate for elementary instruction:
K?6 Elementary Classroom Teacher ? 102
K?8 Elementary Education ? 103
K?8 Reading ? 148
K?8 Social Studies ? 164
K?8 Language Arts ? 144
Other applicable Iowa elementary content endorsements may also be considered.
Candidates who are eligible for licensure or are currently completing an approved teacher preparation program are encouraged to apply.
