This position will enjoy a hybrid work schedule, providing opportunities to collaboration in person at our beautiful IHMVCU headquarters located on River Drive in Moline.Summary of Position:We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling insurance products to our members while providing exceptional service and contributing to the overall success of the team.The successful candidate should have following skills/qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent.Property/Casualty insurance license or ability to obtain one within 30 daysMinimum 3 years successful sales experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with members.Strong customer service orientation with the ability to address and resolve member concerns.Reliable, motivated, and strong organizational skills.Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional developmentKey Responsibilities:Build member relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with members and potential members to determine their needs. Review existing coverage and recommend solutions for potential gaps in protection.Provide insurance solutions: Present quotes from available carriers, recommend policies that best fit each member's needs, and clearly explain details and coverage options. Maintain carrier knowledge: Stay informed about carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and policy requirements while maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers. Stay current with industry trends: Monitor industry developments and changes to help ensure members receive informed, relevant service. Follow applicable regulations: Conduct all transactions in accordance with state insurance laws and agency requirements. Maintain licensing: Keep all required insurance licenses current and in good standing with the applicable states.Teamwork/Collaboration: Maintain professional and collaborative working relationships with the entire team, assist other areas as needed, and keep the member service standard at the forefront.
