Job Overview

Full time position at a behavioral health group practice in Danbury CT. Monday through Friday. Benefits include 15 days paid time off (vacation and sick time combined), Six paid holidays, no health Insurance provided. Pay will depend on experience . We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our office. This vital role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities are a plus, as is experience with office management and clerical tasks. Duties

  • Greet visitors, clients, and vendors warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately using proper phone etiquette
  • Handle scheduling tasks such as calendar management and appointment setting using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
  • Perform data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records with attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Assist with administrative support tasks such as typing correspondence and managing documents with high organizational skills
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally in person or via phone or email

Experience

  • Previous office experience or clerical experience in a professional environment is required
  • Proven ability to manage front desk responsibilities efficiently in a busy setting
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and data entry tools
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems, calendar management, and customer service is essential
  • Bilingual skills are highly desirable to assist diverse client needs
  • Knowledge of medical or dental receptionist duties, including appointment scheduling and patient communication, is a plus
