    • Review capital improvement projects for sustainability impacts.
    • Work with environmental personnel across the Domtar mill system.
    • Involvement in our local community through volunteer efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in pulp and paper.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Experience with environmental monitoring equipment and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification.
  • Experience with ISO 14001 or similar environmental management systems.
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.

Working Conditions:
  • Primarily on-site at the mill with regular exposure to industrial environments.
  • Occasional travel for training, audits, or regulatory meetings.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate PPE and work in varying environmental conditions.
