Company Information: A company in the Morristown area is looking to add a skilled **1st Shift CNC Machinist Toolmaker **to their team! This is a Direct Hire opportunity offering long-term stability, strong training programs, and excellent growth potential.

Job Duties:

• Independently set up and operate lathes, milling machines, and other precision machining equipment
• Machine and repair high-precision mold cavities and components
• Perform measurements and inspections on machined parts to ensure accuracy
• Troubleshoot machining issues and ensure quality standards
• Perform fitting, assembly, and preventive maintenance on tool shop equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete all required documentation
• May occasionally travel to other facilities, customers, or suppliers
• Lift and handle up to 35 lbs

Pay/Benefits:

• $30–$35/HR (based on experience)

Schedule:

• 1st shift primary schedule
• May be required to work alternate hours or overtime as needed for high-priority projects

CNC Machinist Toolmaker's Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on machining experience (manual and CNC mills/lathes)
• Experience machining steel, stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, etc.
• Ability to calculate speeds/feeds for precision machining
• Surface grinding experience preferred; EDM experience a plus
• Ability to read detailed technical drawings/blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and great math skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs
• Post-secondary machining or tool & die training preferred
