Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Director Drug Development Project Manager to co-lead strategic planning and operational execution for early- and late-stage development programs. The role partners with global program leadership to oversee cross-functional teams, manage timelines and budgets, and drive program milestones while fostering collaborative team dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead strategic and operational planning with Global Program Lead and cross-functional teams
• Develop integrated program plans encompassing milestones, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation
• Coordinate and track deliverables across Global Program Team sub-teams and governance interactions
• Facilitate team goal-setting, performance tracking, and communication with stakeholders
• Coach project team members and drive continuous improvement within program management function

Requirements

• Advanced degree in life sciences, chemical sciences, or related discipline; Ph.D. preferred
• 10+ years biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience; 8+ years acceptable with advanced degree
• Proven expertise managing complex early- and late-phase drug development programs
• Deep understanding of end-to-end drug development processes and product value assessment
• Leadership skills including matrix team management and influence without direct authority
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project
• PMP certification desirable
