Litigation Associate Attorney - North San Diego

A well-established boutique civil litigation firm in North San Diego is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience, ideally in business or real estate litigation. The firm offers a collaborative culture, strong mentorship, a reasonable 1600-hour billable requirement, and early client exposure. Key Responsibilities

* Handle all phases of litigation from case initiation through trial or settlement.
* Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
* Take and defend depositions.
* Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
* Manage client communication and case updates.
* Collaborate closely with partners and team members on complex litigation matters.

Qualifications

* J.D. from an accredited law school and active member in good standing with the California Bar.
* Minimum 2 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in business or real estate litigation.
* Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
* Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motions practice.
* Excellent communication, organization, and case management abilities.
