Salary:
$100k-$150k Base + Bonus
(+ Commission opportunities)

Summary:
Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their plaintiff personal injury law firm and represent clients in catastrophic personal injury & medical malpractice matters. 

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients related to catastrophic personal injury & medical malpractice matters with a focus on providing high-quality legal services
• Manage a caseload from inception through close
• Handle a cases of various litigation matters from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and arguments
• Prepare for and conduct depositions, interrogatories, and other discovery proceedings
• Collaborate and work with as a team with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and work up all aspects of the case as a team.
• Assist with the preparation of trial exhibits, witness interviews, and trial briefs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, including organizing and managing documents and evidence
• Attend court hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings as required
• Stay current with changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents that may impact ongoing cases

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar and in good standing
• 5-15  years of experience in Plaintiff PI or Medical Malpractice
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
