Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Agile Facilitation
  • Conduct all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Retrospective, Backlog Refinement) with focus on time-boxing, clarity, and purpose.
  • Coordinate release and increment planning with Release Train Engineer or Release Management.
  • Support creation of release notes and documentation packages.
  • Team Enablement & Coaching
  • Foster collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning across team members.
  • Coach both technical and non-technical stakeholders on Agile practices.
  • Guide teams through workflow transformations, including Kanban-to-Scrum transitions, WIP limits, and sprint cadence adjustments.
  • Impediment Removal
  • Identify, track, and resolve internal and external impediments that threaten sprint goals (resource constraints, integration bottlenecks, approvals).
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate governance bodies.
  • Metrics & Reporting
  • Capture and communicate Scrum metrics (Velocity, Burndown, Cycle Time, Cumulative Flow) using Jira.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, drive process improvements, and increase delivery predictability.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Lead retrospectives to generate actionable improvement items.
  • Implement and track adoption of process enhancements (e.g., Definition of Ready, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing).
  • Document lessons learned and best practices for knowledge sharing across the enterprise.
  • Risk & Dependency Management
  • Maintain visible risk and dependency boards for teams.
  • Work with Program Risk Management to mitigate high-impact risks.

Skills:

  • Strong facilitation and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience coaching Agile teams in SAFe ART environments.
  • Understanding of software development practices: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, version control.
  • Proficiency with Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, cumulative flow) and Jira.
  • Ability to identify systemic impediments and drive root-cause analysis.
  • Experience participating in PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors.
